Description:
1.Generate production information for ship structure, hull machinery/equipment installation, hull fitting installation/fabrication, accommodation furnishing, etc
2. Perform naval architecture calculations, e.g., stability/hydrostatic, weight distribution, etc
3. Prepare documentation for drawing list, material list, production information, weight control, material management, delivery documents.
4. Use CAD system as a design tool. Customize the CAD application if require to achieve higher productivity in generation of design and production information.
5. Perform technical evaluation of installation control and design interface documents of marine equipment to ensure successful implementation of designs
6. Analyze design issue (includes site cecking and tests/trials) and provide most effective solution.
7.Designing ships and boats and related components and specialist equipment, using complex mathematical and physical models to ensure that the ship's design is satisfactory technically and that it complies with safety regulations;
8.Planning the whole build process of a vessel, managing everything from concept through to delivery of the final product;
9.Acting as a consultant - providing clients with engineering solutions, technical and commercial guidance, support and project management for concept design studies, new vessel constructions, refits and conversions;
10.Providing onboard safety training for ships crews (for naval architects with seafaring experience).
