Description:
Lead elements of a research & development campaign utilizing cutting edge geo-spatial intelligence tools and procedures. Provide imagery expertise and technical evaluation of new automated software and maritime detection algorithms developed and sponsored by naval commands and program offices.

- Develop techniques and procedures to incorporate bathymetry, meteorology, oceanography and other scientific applications to reduce erroneous reporting and streamline analysis and dissemination of products.
- Train military and civilian analysts on newly developed techniques and procedures that result from the research.
- Present results to senior government scientists, program managers, and military leaders.
- Coordinate with Naval staffs, Warfighting Development Centers, the Office of Naval Intelligence and the National Geo-Space Intelligence Agency (NGA).
- Daily work environment in a Special Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
- Travel 15%
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree from accredited university.
- Experience leading teams of imagery analysts.
- Experience providing research, data collection, processing and analysis of imagery/data via applications such as ArcGIS, Socet GXP and other intelligence community (IC) computer applications.
- Experience providing quality assurance of geologic, bathymetric and scientific data used in the generation of digital databases and imagery products.
- Navy imagery qualification (3910).
- Eligible for Top Secret Security Clearance and access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI).
