Description:
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst who possesses a hunger to learn, lead, innovate, and deliver breakthrough solutions to help us scale our business. The successful candidate is someone who can be a user story expert and deliver stories that accurately define the work and how objectives will be achieved. Candidates must have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. We move at a fast pace and deliver software iteratively using AGILE best practices and the latest technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
With input from the product manager, contribute to the vision of the product roadmap and actively participate in backlog refinement and release planning preparation.
Work as part of a cross-functional team of developers, architects, and QA to develop and break down requirements into manageable user stories.
Prepare supporting business requirement artifacts as appropriate such as process flow diagrams, wire frames and report mockups.
Prepare training plans, release notes, customer announcements, and other internal job aids to facilitate successful product deployments.
Work as a liaison among business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and information systems. Coordinate reviews and signoffs with stakeholders to ensure the documentation accurately portrays the business need.
Perform triage, troubleshooting and analysis of reported issues to determine a resolution and translate into actionable items.
Responsible for accepting completed user stories so they can be released to production; verifying that the story meets the acceptance criteria.
Perform product demos as needed.
Manages and tracks status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; updates and refines as necessary.
Demonstrate an aptitude to quickly learn business processes.
Demonstrate ability to develop strong relationships with key business resources.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree within a technical discipline.
5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst delivering cutting edge technology with an emphasis on new product development.
3 years of experience in a scrum/agile environment; Scrum certification preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly.
Proven strong problem-solving skills; troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed on project related issues.
Excellent and demonstrated skills in meeting facilitation, relationship management, leadership, critical thinking, technical writing, and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with team members, managers, vendors and all levels of cross-functional teams and management in a highly dynamic and demanding work environment. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in the payment industry.
Experience working with TFS or JIRA.
