Job Description
The Market Manager(MM) is responsible for the leadership and management of sales, logistics and field service activities for the Texas market. This role will provide direct leadership to all aspects of the business to include Sales, Service, Logistics and Administration personnel. The MM shall have joint P&L responsibility for the market working with company President and Finance Director to ensure the revenue and profit objectives are met. This role will ensure customers experience world class service and support. This leader will drive growth activity to meet annual plan quotas focused on operating income, revenue, maintenance agreements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive district growth by executing sales strategy and business development plan.
  • Develop business plans, strategies, and objectives to ensure quotas and financial plans are met or exceeded.
  • Manage Territory P&L and deliver on financial goals (revenue and operating income)
  • Develop plans and resources to ensure customer needs, contract obligations, and service work is completed within appropriate timeframes and meets quality expectations.
  • Lead service and support teams
  • Work with Project Management and Engineering teams on complex turnkey HVAC projects
  • Build and maintain rapport and positive working relationships with internal and external business partners, such as Equipment Manufacturers, Contractors, Manufacturer's Reps to ensure all sales and service targets are met.
  • Coach and develop employees in order to maximize performance and potential.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and ensure that training is provided for new employees.
  • Ensures that on-going training and skill development is encouraged and provided for all employees.
  • Drive implementation of ripKurrent "Make it Happen" culture, including prioritization of safety and People Centered Management, for the Texas market
  • Ensure market meets all safety standards and metrics.
  • Fosters continuous quality and process improvement
  • Take responsibility for subordinates' activities.
  • Solicit and apply feedback (internal and external) to improve processes, products, and services.
  • Manage company assets and inventory to ensure proper cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee shipping and logistics operations


Requirements

Qualifications: Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • 7 years related experience and/or training, preferably in commercial HVAC service industry
  • 5+ years people management experience
  • Leadership experience in Service, Sales, and Operations
  • Previous experience working with financial statements and managing P&L in excess of $5MM
  • Knowledge of HVAC designs, applications, and energy saving solutions


Nice to have:

  • 10+ years related experience and/or training, preferably in commercial HVAC service industry
  • Experience leading a team of Sales and Service Representatives
