We need an exceptional Product Management leader to own product management and strategy, to lead a team of eager and amazing PM's to deeply understand the needs and demands of our customers, and to design outstanding solutions for application development teams worldwide.

Essential for this role-you'll need to be a proven product leader, with experience leading and growing a team of awesome PM's, a proven ability to create profitable software solutions for application developers, with a passion for helping businesses succeed beyond their expectations.

Responsibilities

  • You'll own the company's product roadmaps, and you'll create a winning vision for these areas as well as a can't-miss strategy to achieve that vision. You will lead PMs to create feature backlogs and prioritize product investments by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
  • Manage and coach a team of Product Managers, helping to grow their skills and maximize their impact. Coach and lead the PM team to create user stories and designs that lead to remarkable products.
  • Deeply understand the needs and demands of IDERA's customer base and create the product strategy to win in these segments.
  • Collaborate with Development, Usability engineers, and QA to deliver game-changing products to our customers.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Support to successfully rollout our products and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience.
  • Collaborate with executive management to ensure we have a winning roadmap that furthers the company vision.
  • Be a thought leader within and beyond IDERA's products, experiences, and technologies.


Required Skills

  • Extensive software product management experience, preferably in creating product for application development teams.
  • Experience leading remote teams leveraging great organizational skills and a history of process innovation.
  • Thorough understanding of PM skills, processes, and best practices, and ability to teach to others.
  • Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver unparalleled solutions. A track record for building products on time and within budget.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills. Ability to create a winning roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult trade-off decisions.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • 8+ years of software Product Management experience. Pragmatic Marketing certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience managing software Product Managers. Proven ability to manage and grow a high-performance team.


This position can be hired in Houston or Austin.
