Description:We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the architects & backend developers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Responsibilities
Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
Collaborating with architects and backend development team to design and implement innovative solutions to address project UI needs
Executing all UI design stages from concept to final hand-off to production
Skills & Qualifications
Proven UI experience
Hands-on experience with AngularJS & ReactJS
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools is a plus
Experience with Python and web frameworks (Flask/Django) is a plus
Understanding with Open Source codes and custom libraries
Ability to learn new things independently and develop quality software
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Ability to present the designs & sell the solutions to various stakeholders
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git & SVN
Knowledge and experience with web app development, REST and databases (SQL / NoSQL)
Ability to work closely with designer, product managers, and other developers
Good communication skills
