Mechanical Estimator (Salaried): $75,000 - $90,000 per year Actual pay depends on education, experience, and performanceUMC is growing and looking to add an experienced Mechanical Estimator to our team. Mechanical Estimator Responsibilities and Duties
- Establish and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractors
- Understand plumbing and HVAC scopes of work
- Accurately prepare estimates
- Ensure timely completion of estimates
- Understand and prepare cost analysis
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Prepare submittals
- Complete detailed handoff meetings to project team
Mechanical Estimator Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of mechanical estimating or project management experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or other related field will be considered as experience
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
