Job Description

Job Brief

The Content Marketing Manager will take full responsibility of our aligning content assets to company marketing strategies including social media, blogs and lead generation. Will write, source and produce various types of downloadable content to expand our company's digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads through prolific and articulate content creation. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, subscribers, and leads, that delivers sales and customer retention
  • Ability to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers and inspire team members while remaining current with new technologies and marketing trends
  • Create content and project plans to disseminate information, drive awareness, education and share best practices through whitepapers infographics, guides, templates, case studies, whitepapers etc
  • Create the content our audience is looking for and optimize the path to conversion through a brand publisher mindset
  • Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost (with cost optimization at the core of proposals)
  • Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone. Editorial requirements include basic SEO / SEM understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
  • Blog on an ongoing basis to support and promote offers and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers
  • Develop, foster and grow relationships with content driven media sites to distribute by lines from company blogposts and press releases
  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant quality content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience
  • Liaise with Development, Client Success, Deliverability and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
  • Measure and optimize programs resulting in continuous refinement of strategy
  • Foster and manage relationships with creative resources including external bloggers, content writers, contributors, external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant quality content and a network that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience
  • Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
  • Create and deliver presentations on the programs, approaches, analytics and results


Qualifications
  • A dual-minded approach: You're highly creative but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Experience creating content for the web and creating growth with social audiences either online or offline
  • Experience with Wordpress, Google analytics, Slideshare, Infographics and the top social channels
  • Understanding of web publishing requirements
  • Project management skills and attention to detail while understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Analytical mindset to focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
