Job Description

8x8 is seeking a highly motivated senior-level Solutions Engineer to help build and expand our strategic alliances with technology partners. The Sr. Solutions Engineer will be a core member of our business development team focused on defining, developing, marketing and supporting compelling integrations of 8x8's industry-leading cloud communications platform with major CRM, ERP and sales and marketing automation tools. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, deep domain experience with major CRM and ERP platforms, excellent communication skills, and experience selling and supporting SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison with CRM and ERP partners, with the ability to capture and convey integration requirements, manage certification and qualification efforts with partners, and interface with engineering teams on both sides.
  • Enable sales and marketing teams, both internally and with partners, to effectively position and sell our integrated solutions.
  • Solicit and monitor customer feedback to understand solution requirements, use cases, and customer pain points.
  • Coordinate and oversee customer pilots and beta programs
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer issues and requests from the customer support and sales teams
  • Support joint marketing efforts with partners, including webinars and trade shows
  • Provide sales and solution engineering support for strategic sales accounts


Qualifications

Requirements:
  • 3+ Years of SaaS software selling and/or solution architecting experience, with emphasis on mid-market and enterprise customers
  • Working knowledge of major CRM and ERP platforms, including Salesforce and Netsuite
  • Technical knowledge of web/scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SaaS applications.
  • Technical knowledge of VoIP, SIP, networking technologies, and cloud infrastructure is highly desired
  • Call Center domain experience is highly desired
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to clearly communicate and translate between technical communities and business users
  • Ready and willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong "people" skills and passion to build new market opportunities
  • BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field
