Description:
To be considered, candidates must have enterprise software and broad experience in leading sales teams to drive new customer sales for Idaptive products to SMB and mid-enterprise organizations. Experience previously in security software, identity management, or infrastructure technologies is highly preferred. Such product experience delivered as a Cloud/SaaS is also highly preferred. Candidates who have successfully led teams in early to mid-stage growth, privately held companies are preferred. The selected candidate will have successfully managed sales teams to exceed sales quota and other productivity metrics. The ideal candidate must possess a combination of business acumen, organizational savvy and expertise in managing multi-track projects.
Responsibilities
Help create a shared vision for where the Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) market is going and how to address the opportunity
Lead initiatives to drive revenue in the United States, perform analysis on the business regularly, and build relationships with partners.
Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts Plan and manage Idaptive sales activities according to agreed-upon strategy
Consistently meet and/or exceed sales quota and other productivity metrics
Ability to manage both local office and remote account executives
Work in tandem with marketing to coordinate fully integrated demand generation campaigns
Recruit, develop and retain exceptional talent
Ability to continuously improve team talent and effectiveness through hands-on mentoring and formal training and enablement programs
Requirements
5-7 years of individual software sales experience plus a minimum of 3 years in a sales leadership position
Experience with Executive/Senior Management level interaction
Proven skills in successfully managing a team of l
Proven sale skills in managing relationships, including presentation and negotiation
Proven skills managing through sales system metrics. Salesforce.com proficiency is required.
Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
Proven leadership capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
Self-starter: must be able to work with minimal guidance
Strong understanding of software and the technology market, with specialization in Idaptive-type products preferred
Experience with multi-channel sales strategies
Strong proponent of the sales and customer support relationship
Familiarity with sales and marketing tools and systems, e.g. Marketo, Insidesales.com, Office applications; some analytics experience
Proven success in a fast-paced, innovative culture Experienced with a hybrid selling environment, where both direct and indirect approaches are used
Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, passion, and commitment to attain corporate and personal goals
