The role

We are searching for results-oriented Commercial Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers to join our expanding sales team in New York City and the Southeast region of the US. As the face of the company, you will be responsible for ensuring the client receives the highest level of service for Commercial and Strategic Accounts. You will be managing an existing book of business from across our portfolio, and as such, it's imperative that you ensure all renewals and reoccurring business is not only maintained but you are able to upsell and cross sell our other services in order to add value. The Account Manager is also able to leverage support from our new business hunting team to find new revenue streams as well as our subject matter experts in our services organization. Duties include devising sales plans, managing relationships with our existing clients, maintaining in-depth account profiles on key clients, ensuring on time renewals, accurate forecasting and educating your clientson industry news and innovations.
To ensure success as an Account Manager, you should be adept at market research and skilled in forming long-lasting, mutually-beneficial relationships. An Account Manager will be someone whose client-oriented approach and sales expertise result in increased profitability. Ultimately, an outstanding Account Manager will keep a close eye on clients' feedback to ensure that our products and services always exceed expectations.

The Role:

Developing and executing sales plans to meet these quotas.
Organizing and presenting monthly or quarterly clientbusiness reviews.
Upselling and cross selling our services on existing renewals and managed services.
Building relationships and networks with our partner eco system.
Executing and nurturing opportunities via our Account Based Marketing approach.
Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with current clients.
Traveling to businesses to conduct sales presentations.
Managing your pipeline and forecast in a timely and accurate fashion.
Resolving clients' concerns in a timely and amicable manner.
Presenting in-depth reports to the director of sales and other stakeholders, as required.
Conducting regular market research to maintain an updated knowledge of consumers' needs and competitors' activities.
Partaking in industry events to refine your skills and maintain mutually-beneficial business relationships.

Organizational Alignment

Reports to the Sales Account Leader
Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
Closely coordinates company executive involvement with client management.
Works closely with Sales Operations, Customer Success Team, and other departments to ensure client satisfaction and problem resolution.
This position may have direct report staff assigned to support responsibilities in specific clients.

What we need to see from you

Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar is ideal.
A proven history of meeting sales targets and boosting clientsatisfaction.
Proficiency in clientrelationship practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong vertical and lateral thinking abilities.
The ability to build long-lasting professional relationships.
A self-motivated approach to work.
Willingness to travel to current and target clients, as required.
Highly motivated and results oriented; entrepreneurial spirit.
Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment with minimum supervision.
