Cyber Forensics Specialist
Location: Raritan, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 10+ Months
Skills and Competencies:
Deep technical experience of and comfort with computer hardware, mobile device, electronic storage technology such as hard disk, flash memory, tape backup, etc., and cloud-based data repositories.
Possess advance skills to forensically collect, preserve, process, and analyze data from electronic data sources, including computers, servers, volatile memory (i.e., RAM), mobile devices, and cloud-based environments.
Ability to lead examinations of data and/or digital evidence and follow through on leads until all possible avenues in investigating a case have been exhausted while using established policies, procedures, and precedent techniques.
Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing onsite technical guidance and collaborating with team members to examine data and/or digital evidence to identify, diagnose, and resolve error and complex conditions.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to prepare and present reports, briefings, of information and findings obtained during investigations to keys stakeholders.
Ability to serve as a mentor to others, providing guidance and training on technical matters related to the collection and analysis of data and/or digital evidence.
Desired qualifications: GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, GNFA or other certification(s) would be beneficial (EnCE, MCFE, MCME, MCCE, CFCE, CCE, etc.).
