Director Business Analytics for Specialty Pharma brands
This role requires strong leadership experience in enabling advanced data analytics and solutions with the ability to comfortably connect analytics to business decisions by proactive collaboration with several functions, including Forecasting, Finance, Market Intelligence, Managed Markets, Commercial Data & Reporting and Digital
Key Responsibilities:
Create and lead the implementation of an annual analytics charter aligned to business priorities.
Lead the timely execution of signature deliverables for Customer Guidance (Segmentation & Targeting) and Marketing Mix/Investment Guidance by leveraging best-in-class framework and methodology maximizing the impact of evidence-driven business decisions
Lead, at times hands-on, in the development of algorithms, code, hypotheses, models, and solution frameworks for new & unstructured business problems, driving effective application and value of advanced analytics. Seek to automate and industrialize such algorithms/solutions, etc. for providing predictive insights and prescriptive actions to various commercial teams (Marketing, Sales, other)
Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including CI, Marketing, Sales, Digital, Finance, and Technology teams; respond to ad hoc strategic business questions from senior management
Actively participate in the strategic roadmap for shaping and transforming the Business Analytics function and advancing the vision for enabling next generation of analytics for IQVIA and IQVIA's clients
Facilitate the development of Business Analytics Managers
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Finance/ Economics, OR a related field
Professional experience in marketing analytics, full-time employment in mid-large organizations, or in leading global management consulting firm, with focus on Marketing and Customer Analytics ideally focused on commercial pharma within the U.S
Understanding of marketing fundamentals & frameworks that can be applied to solve analytical problems
Methodological hands-on mastery of relevant analytical approaches and models, including segmentations, clustering methods, promotional response, digital analytics
Experience with analytical (SAS, R, Python etc.) & visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
Experience with manipulating different datasets & statistical modeling
Communication and presentation skills as evidenced through impactful presentations
Preferred Qualifications:
M.Sc in Computer Sciences, Operations Research, Analytics, Statistics, Finance/ Economics, OR a related field
Experience in commercial analytics focused on nephrology and/or cardiovascular and/or diabetes, immunology (lupus related)
Experience in multiple commercial analytics functions like call planning, targeting, customer segmentation, resource allocation/optimization
