JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Business Ethics team is to manage, regulate and enforce the policies and procedures applicable to ACN Independent Business Owners (IBOs), while protecting and safeguarding ACN's business relationships. The team is responsible for a wide-range of projects supporting the operations of the IBOs and the company, with a focus on adherence to federal/state/provincial regulatory rules in relation to consumer complaints against ACN's regulated services. The manager will direct and coordinate the activities of the Business Ethics team and will support them in meeting the demands of analyzing, researching, and managing various case reviews, projects and escalations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage the day-to-day functions and initiatives of the Business Ethics team, including the Team Lead and Ethical Assurance Specialists
Develop procedures and controls to promote the continual communication and flow of information within the department and organization, including regular metrics reports and performance indicators
Anticipate and protect the company and its IBOs against potential liabilities and exposure through continued compliance education, researching industry trends and best practices, and monitoring applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Recommend and implement new approaches, policies, procedures and business rules to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of departmental objectives
Act as liaison between ACN executives, internal departments (e.g., Legal, IBO Services, Agency, etc.), various outside vendors, and the IBO channel, with respect to the handling of inquiries and complaints, and in connection with compliance initiatives and goals
Receive and process escalated inquiries and grievances in accordance with defined directives and in support of the overall goals of the department and organization
Independently handle complaints and inquiries from attorneys and regulatory agencies and bodies such as offices of attorneys general and various U.S. and Canadian consumer protection agencies
Recommend processes that proactively and reactively monitor the acceptable application of all IBO policies and procedures and ensure adherence to the intent of ACN's compensation plan
Identify and develop automated processes and other initiatives to increase departmental efficiency
Enforce and support ACN's position when reviewing social media content and marketing materials using standards established by ACN, DSA, FTC and other guiding regulatory bodies; assist in reviewing marketing materials (PowerPoint presentations, videos, etc.) for use at International Conventions
Answer questions and provide guidance in the application and interpretation of policies
Analyze and interpret SLA, case audits and communicate with Legal team on department activity; evaluate existing compliance reporting and recommend changes based upon trends; create and distribute statistical findings based on results of investigations
Develop customer and representative acquisition audits for all products marketed by ACN and partner with other internal departments to determine areas of risk for the organization KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree or equivalent experience
3+ years supervisory experience
2+ years in compliance, fraud analytics or regulatory-related position
Ability to travel 3-4 times a year
