Position Summary
McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Traffic Engineer III. The ideal candidate will work as part of a team on a variety of traffic analysis and design needs for a variety of transportation projects for public agencies. Projects are likely to range from concept development and preliminary engineering studies to final design.

- Signing and pavement marking design
- Traffic signal design
- Traffic impact analysis
- Capacity and operational analysis
- Traffic simulation modeling
- Crash /safety studies
- Opportunities to lead traffic tasks and grow into project management
Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering License Required
- 7-12 years of experience or equivalent working knowledge/experience in the field of traffic engineering
- Experience and knowledge of agency guidelines and requirements is preferred
- Ability to prioritize assignments
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Hands-on experience with common traffic engineering software including Synchro, and HCS (VISSIM a plus)
- Experience working in MicroStation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
