Speech Language Pathologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work with clients to help them improve their communication skills and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments to determine the nature and severity of speech and language disorders.
- Evaluating Residents conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Providing therapy to clients to help improve their speech and language skills.
- Monitoring and tracking client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, psychologists, and educators, to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Educating clients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills and enhance their quality of life.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Current ASHA Certification.
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
- Experience working with clients with speech and language disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
