POSITION DESCRIPTION

GRID Alternatives is hiring a Multifamily Partnership Manager to support the organizations rapidly expanding service offering of photovoltaic solutions for the affordable multifamily housing sector and mission-aligned non-profit service providers. This position will be a member of the headquarters team and largely serve to support regional office project sales and development opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify, cultivate, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders in the affordable housing industry and owners of mission-aligned non-profit organizations and throughout regions served by GRID Alternatives. This includes engaging with community development corporations, owners of affordable housing, regional providers of services for low-income populations, trade groups and industry coalitions.
  • Lead cross-regional partnerships and project development opportunities to serve as a single point of contact for the organization's nine regional offices
  • Engage persuasively and clearly to customers interested in GRID's solar technical assistance, installation, and workforce development services
  • Support sales and project development efforts to secure annual project pipelines with significant annual growth over the next several years.
  • Support internal training and execution of product and strategy launches
  • Work closely with communications and regional development teams to develop consistent marketing strategies
  • Assist in the localization of sales and marketing materials, which includes but is not limited to: official website content, mailers, brochures and product documentation
  • Evaluate and track the success of programs and campaigns


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales of solar energy systems for commercial and/or residential multifamily customers or related technical sales.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating across various internal stakeholders including project development staff, construction, design, procurement and project management.
  • Experience building relationships and working with diverse stakeholders in order to cultivate productive partnerships and alliances
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time
  • Demonstrated passion for civic engagement, equality and social progress
  • Experience in developing and rolling out marketing strategies
  • Experienced user with MS Office, G-Suite applications


Desired Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of solar technologies and concepts is desired (knowledge of energy efficiency, building technology, commercial construction or other related technologies may be considered)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM


Compensation:

This is a full-time position, compensation commensurate with experience
