Engineering Manager Payments

Position Summary: A hands-on leader, this role has experience as a senior software engineer, but is capable of leading and managing a high-performance team of 3-8 engineers to enhance transactional capabilities. This role will focus on the payments and billing components for payment processing on the platform that services 10,000+ business with over $1B in online Gross Merchandise Value. This is one of the fastest-growing category defining products for the creator economy.

Requirements:

• Experience designing/developing payment processing tools
• Experience with 3rd party integrations
• Experience managing engineering/developer teams
• Experience in scaled SaaS environment
• Experience with RoR, Java, C# or Python

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with React, Javascript
• DevOps experience in AWS and building CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL, preferably Postgres

Salary: $175-210k
Location: Irvine, CA - 100% Remote ok
Team: 600 total employees, ~60 in tech team
