The Technology Group of The Federal Reserve Bank of NY is seeking an experienced Senior Appian BPM developer with moderate to strong hands on Java development skills. This fulltime contractor position needed for Solutions Delivery - Core Systems that undertakes BPM application development projects for Corporate, Legal, Risk, Human Resources, Technology Group and Executive Office and bank wide transformation projects and support diversified application technologies portfolio.
Strong hands on experience (7-8 years) developing applications in Appian business process management and integrating with other COTS products
Strong business analysis and technical expertise to produce busienss process models and converting into code and delivering prototype rapidly
7-8 years of experience in appian to build solution and delivering mission critical, fault tolerant applications
At least 3+ plus years of hand on development experience to develop in Java/J2EE, Web Service and RESTful service rapidly in fast moving projects
At least 3 years' experience in HTML, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, Java Script, Ajax
Strong business analysis, model-driven-architecture and model-driven-development - specifically to produce analysis, design, component and deployment models for Appian based BPM applications
Hands on Object-Oriented analysis and design skills including requirements analysis, Object Oriented design patterns, and UML;
Experience incorporating non-functional design aspects into the code components
Experience with quality assurance process for testing applications including functional, non-functional and parallel testing
Moderate understanding of Application resiliency, security, scalability and general performance concepts
Strong understanding of address appian application performance issues and application tuning
Ability to work on multiple tasks, perform in depth code reviews and ensure design and coding are adhering to security and architectural standards.
Solid working experience in agile project delivery and competing priorities
Ability to collaborate with multiple business and technical teams
Moderate knowledge of Word, Excel and productivity improvement tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at sound analysis and judgment.
Experience in implementing BPM solutions leveraging Appian platform 17.x and above
Strong hands on experience to configure appian, debug, unit, systems, integration test and document new applications and enhancements including, but not limited to forms, reports, underlying logic and interface components on development projects as assigned
Highly skilled solution implementer who has integrated appian with different technology platforms using native integration components
High level understanding various products that make up reference architecture and constraints
Appian development - Process models, SAIL forms, CDT's, records, reports, Appian security architecture, web API's, business analysis Appian - plug-in development, integration with enterprise systems Web Service and REST service development, Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate
Web technologies - HTML, HTML5, XML, Java Script and Ajax Database - JDBC, ODBC, SQL JenKin, JUNIT, Maven, Subversion Moderate Java/J2EE skills Java/J2EE, System Design, JQuery, JavaScript frameworks, Ajax, JUnit, Spring, Subversion, Maven, Jenkin, SCA, REST, Appian development using SAIL interfaces, process models and records. Knowledge of Financial Services industry are a plus
