Field experience with low voltage systems in a construction environment and excellent computer skills desired. Minimum of two years industry experience working with Fire Alarms and Life Safety Systems systems required. Electronics/Construction Management certification a plus. BSEE or equivalent a plus.

PAY RANGE: $45-65 HOURLY
Technical Acumen:
- Estimate, design and respond to formal bids
- Review and interpret construction documents, wiring and schematic diagrams and schedules
- Provide technical design support for sales and field personnel
- Be open minded and able to suggest new products for both existing and new customer.
- Proactive in following up on proposals both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to write Cost Proposal in a professional manner.
- Strong computer skills, including but not limited to creating spreadsheets, cost proposal and project bids using software.
- Strong verbal and written skills. Candidate must be able to demonstrate a sense of leadership in negotiations and critical thinking.
- Able to work in a team environment or individually with little direct supervision.
- Industry professionals holding RCDD, NICET, PSP, CPP and/or LEED certifications are encouraged to apply.
- All work is performed to RFI standards and quality techniques are practiced.
- Maintain accurate project information with in RFI shared files and system.
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities without supervision.
- Capacity to organize workload for effective implementation.
- Be knowledgeable of current industry standards and emerging technologies.
- Other duties deemed necessary.
Customer Service & Communications Skills:
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in providing customers and Project Managers with detailed progress updates, delays/ impacts, safety concerns, and any other information that will aid in achieving a successful project outcome.
- Work proactively and in a positive manner with all co-workers.
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner to resolve RFI, Client, or other inquiries and/or requests.
- Maintain communications with customers and sales executives to resolve customer issues.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Safety & Accountability:
- Adherence to all RFI Safety Policies; Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.
- Consistently keeps work area clean and free of potential hazards.
- Ability to complete work and solve problems in a timely manner.
- Provide reports to management.
- Adhere to procedures and standards in system design for quality installations.
