Primary Responsibilities
Lead Discovery
- Represent the voice of the customer in all discussions and in the development of the solution
- Identify current business processes and operational activities, and understand the full scope of impact of the implementation of a specified application / solution
- Develop strategic discovery questions and facilitate discussions that surface details on customer side business processes and technology driven workflow
Represent Client Needs Throughout Delivery
- Evaluate and propose solution options for build, partner, buy considerations
- Support scrum teams by continuously representing the voice of the customer in order to provide context behind the requirements
- Create and develop workflow diagrams that represent how requirements will be accommodated, as well as roadmaps and associated product backlog, project plans, and other tools to ensure execution on various workstreams in accordance with customer requirements and timelines
- Identify and design reporting requirements and metrics necessary for internal and external parties to monitor solution availability, quality, performance, and impact
- Establish customer meeting cadence with associated agendas, and guide discussions to accomplish objectives in alignment with project plan(s)
Evaluate Impact
- Identify aspects of customer cost and expense for administrative activities, inefficiencies, and errors in support of completing a Cost Benefit Analysis and or Return on Investment Evaluation
- Develop pricing alternatives and models for solutions, including savings and revenue assumptions that annotate expected product performance
- Abstract key capabilities and product positioning statements from competitor's published content, promotions, and artifacts, in order to create summarized solution comparison and solution differentiator statements
- Conduct analysis on target customers with associated financial modeling required to size solution potential and guide business development approach
- Conduct product demonstrations to describe and illustrate the Avaneer Environment and Infrastructure components and how components interact in support applications and end-to-end solution workflow
Enable Long Term Success
- Develop and manage (in partnership with Marketing and Sales) product launch strategy and corresponding execution activities list, along with tools and training to equip the client facing business team with product insights to foster pipeline development
- Contribute to the creation of an extensive implementation / integration playbook for supporting customer onboarding, integration and launch of application use within the Avaneer Network
- Assist customers in operationalizing the use of a product offering or application within their existing business operations to help ensure initial adoption and long-term benefit attainment while capturing and documenting user feedback
- Manage product(s) P&L to attain expected growth projections and margin requirements
- Support and assist the Product Business analyst as a key enabling partner in helping them accomplish their position responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, in an analyst or product owner role
- Demonstrated project management experience, leading multi-dimensional complex projects to support product delivery or operational improvement initiatives
- Creative problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Familiarity with major EHR systems, processes and data flows into and out of these EHR systems
- Knowledge of all EDI transaction sets and associated processes as well as HL7 FHIR, USCDI and similar standardization efforts
- Experience working on an Agile and Scrum teams and familiarity with Agile tenets.
- Able to travel to prospect and customer locations as well as industry events as needed. Expected travel is approximately 15% of the time
