Description:
The SCIF Manager is required to have skills and knowledge to conduct the day to day scheduling and management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), security education and training programs for headquarters and overseas members of the workforce, and portions of the physical security program.

Working Environment & Conditions
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to stand for extended periods of time. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Includes travel to local, remote and out of state locations.
The SCIF Manager:
- Applies practical knowledge of commonly applied information security principles, concepts, and methodologies to resolve well-defined questions or conditions.
- Identifies information requiring protection, such as documents, materials, and devices, and designates the level of protection based on prescribed parameters, well-defined procedures, as well as internal and external policies.
- Assists in designing and conducting information security inspections and surveys in support of efforts to assess the security of the organization's classified national security information procedures and implementing policies.
- Identifies and performs preliminary inquiries of incidents involving the mishandling of classified information.
- Recommends follow-up actions and closure of preliminary inquiries. Assists with the classification and declassification of materials and information.
- Reports unusual or unfamiliar documentation to supervisor or higher graded specialist.
- Communicates with customers on a daily basis.
- Manages the day to day scheduling, opening, closing and other required actions for the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
- Provides indoctrinations and debriefings when applicable.
- Plans and provides instruction covering a wide variety of security topics in well-established areas of a security program. Uses a wide range of teaching methods or tools, depending on the students' learning requirements. Courses are highly structured and have a variety of available training materials. Resolves instructional problems related to typical problems of communication and student motivation.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Three years of experience, education, and/or training in Industrial and Information Security.
- TS/SCI Security Clearance Required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Quick Learner with multitasking ability.
- Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.
- Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred
- Will exhibit the ability to work and multitask independently or in a collaborative environment.
