Military Operations Analyst

4DV ANALYTICS is looking for an experienced Military Operations Analyst to join our team. In this position you will have the opportunity to be supporting multiple customer bases; DoD and other USG organizations, and commercial customers. The ideal candidate for this position has prior experience supporting military operations and has an understanding of data analytics. Candidate should be a fast learner; demonstrated the ability quickly grasp new techniques and technologies. Candidate should be motivated to acquire the necessary practical knowledge through training and self-teaching; interested in learning the limits and potentials of machine learning and other tools to support customer missions.

This is a hybrid work opportunity; time split between Ashburn, Virginia office and your remote telework location.

• Experience with Geospatial time series data sets, imagery
• Experience with cross domain analysis and mission support applications
• Experience supporting operational missions
• Experience developing analysis strategies with a wide range of Geospatial data sets
• Experience working with large data repositories
• Experience working with geospatial, text and measurement data
• Experience working with analytical tools
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in training end users
• Ability to brief analysis, data results and findings to decision makers
• At least 2 years related work experience and training in defense, law enforcement, intelligence or security related fields
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
• Secret Security Clearance
• US Citizenship Required

Must have one of the following:

• Experience with data analysis or working with time series data
• Experience with an Intelligence discipline: SIGINT, Open Source analysis, Imagery, Measurements, Sensors or Video Analysis
• Familiar with and used web or data mining tools, signal processing or automation tools

Preferred (Not Required but a plus):

• Experience using the 4DV INSIGHT system
• Experience or knowledge of statistics, machine learning and higher math
• Top Secret Security Clearance or higher with poly
