Position Overview: The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company's most important partnerships. This role emphasizes driving revenue growth through strategic account management, identifying opportunities for project trials and cross-selling, and ensuring customer centricity. The role will have exceptional relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the commercial landscape, and experience in managing key accounts or similar roles in the beverage industry.

Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Amount of Travel Involved: 25%.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Understand customers business objectives, challenges, and industry trends to provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities for new trial projects, additional production and services to key accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customers organizations.
  • Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Act as an advocate for the customers within the company, ensuring their voice is heard.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing key accounts.
  • Develop strategies to expand the company's presence within key accounts.
  • Work closely with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations for new business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet customers needs.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and performance of key accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to the Director of Commercial Services.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline account management processes and enhance service efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve account management.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to stay ahead of market developments.
  • Travel required.
  • Participate in all company Safety programs.
  • Actively participates in sales training and commits to continuous learning.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college, high school diploma required, and 10+ years' related experience;
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in the beverage manufacturing industry experience in the beverage manufacturing industry.
  • Sales experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the beverage industry.

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold and extreme heat. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but the employee may occasionally be exposed to high level noises including but not limited to manufacturing equipment.
