JOB SUMMARY:
This position will function as a Task Lead for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRNE) Counterproliferation Programs. CBRNE Counterproliferation Programs develop partner capacities in U.S. allied nations to detect, deter, and interdict CBRN items through training and equipping. The Task Lead is directly responsible for meeting quality and schedule goals and working with the CBRNE Program Management Office (PMO) to conduct all tasks within budget. The Task Lead will conduct international travel to monitor and support events overseas. The Task Lead may provide event support coordination on select events.

Program Management

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Management
- Communicate effectively with client to understand requirements, priorities, and constraints
- Plan and manage contract support through direct labor, travel, other direct costs, and subcontract teaming partners
- Monitor performance and schedule through customer and teaming partner communications and student surveys
- Identify and resolve issues
- Track and monitor cost information in coordination with the PMO
- Update planned support
- Ensure on-time delivery of the deliverables across program
- Works with client action officers and teaming partners to identify event support requirements for select projects
- Conducts market research for international vendors for venue, interpretation, local transportation, and invitational lodging
- Initiates and monitors procurement processes to secure international vendor support.
- Monitors vendor performance and approves invoices
- Bachelor's Degree required. Degrees in international relations, political science, or similar disciplines preferred
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects. PMP preferred.
- Civilian or military leadership experience in counterproliferation activities required.
- Experience working with Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools required.
- Must be able to travel unaccompanied to foreign and domestic locations
- Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at a minimum of a Secret level.
- Must be able to type proficiently.
