Job Summary

We are currently searching for a Director of Operations, Client Services ("CS") to join our team. Your mandate is to manage our production implementations ensuring that we deliver a top quality service experience to our customers. You will oversee the operational activities of our client teams, ensuring that we provide an excellent customer experience in all aspects of our production engagements.

You are a seasoned operational leader, having deep experience with and/or supporting major financial institutions. You understand customer care and the importance of ensuring that deliverables are completed in a timely manner with quality. You have been in roles where you have generated value through a proactive service approach. You are passionate about excellence, and have demonstrated experience in implementing and overseeing processes to create the desired results. You are a diligent supervisor, as you will oversee RPM's internal CS activities related to the delivery of RPM's software to our customers.

To be successful in this role, you will have operations and/or program management experiences within the financial services industry. Ideally you have worked in the software industry, overseeing operations and/or delivery aspects of relationships with large-scale customers within RPM's markets (banking, brokerage and mutual funds).

Responsibilities
  • Managing a sales funnel, including the identification of sales prospects and plans to close
  • Actively engaging with prospects following the RPM sales model to advance and close sales opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership to create client value
  • Preparing client sales / business case material for each sale, to assist customers in understanding the value of PRM's solutions
  • Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge of RPM products and services
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets by proactively selling appropriate RPM solutions to meet client needs
  • Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge of all assigned clients' business, and establishing long-term relationships
  • Effectively managing client expectations to ensure that RPM can meet and exceed expectations
  • Consistently portraying a positive "service-first" attitude towards clients
  • Participating in the corporate forecasting process; understanding the customer's business and technical requirements and RPM solutions / offering to meet client needs
  • Participating in industry events to advance RPM's presence in the market

Experience/Educational Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in selling comprehensive software solutions into large client accounts.
  • Proven ability to successfully engage and interact with C-suite executives within our target markets: Banks, MFDA / IIROC firms, Fund Companies
  • Proven ability to successfully manage complex sales cycles and close business
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively (in writing and in presentations) to various types of stakeholders, eg business, technical, operations
  • Well established network of industry relationships and contacts
  • Solid industry knowledge of the Canadian financial services sector
  • University degree or college diploma in a related field
  • Outgoing, warm personality with superior people skills
