Job Description
DUTIES:

1) Project management in the following areas:
a. Inverter to international markets
b. Implementation of advanced grid support feature such as CPUC Rule 21 updates
2) Perform design reviews, manage PDP registers as assigned
3) Resource planning and budgeting. As appropriate, manage and track the financial aspects
of projects and contracts and ensure adherence to established goals and budgets
4) Be point of contact for all respective projects and be able to review progress of
development activities
5) Be able to give technical input for ongoing smart inverter function development projects.
6) Managing tasks and schedules
7) Communication with management on schedule tracking and technical risk
8) Interface with key customers during and after product launch
9) Interface with EPRI, NREL and other partners. Provide recurring project reports
10) Interface with CPUC rule 21 stakeholders and represent the company's interest at Rule
21 meetings, communicate Rule 21 requirements to the company as they change
11) Travel to on-site program meetings as needed
12) Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

1) Direct experience with PV inverter of high power (up to 1MW) and high voltage (up to
600VAC, 1000VDC)
2) Mechanical and/or electrical background and aptitude, knowledge of power electronics
circuit design and simulation
3) Strong computer skills including Windows, MS Office (especially Word and Excel) and
CRM
4) Communication and interpersonal skills are essential
5) Fluent in oral and verbal communication in English, Spanish and Portuguese is big plus
6) Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time

Education/Certification:
1) BSEE and a minimum of 3 years' related experience in the inverter technology
2) Previous project management experience with extensive Agile/Scrum method is a must
3) Expert in PV plant operation
4) Expertise in National Electric Code
5) Product agency certification for UL, CE, FCC, etc. is a big plus

Other:
1) Quality focus, team attitude, problem solving skills, and ability to communicate with
people of varying levels of technical aptitude
2) Ability to perform a cross-functional role providing support to sales, engineering,
manufacturing and product service
3) Ability to gain intimate knowledge of standard products and their capabilities
immediately
