IT Project Manager, IT Expert 6+ years
Location: Dorchester, MA
6 Months -Possibility of extensions and full-time hire

This is a Technical Project Manager role who will be driving the implementation of On-Prem Cloud Container technology at the bank. It will involve setting up of container infrastructure for one application initially. This will involve implementing a process to security scan the application image in the container in the development phase and also continuous scanning once in production. It will also require the update of several technical standards to reflect the use of Containers .

Responsibilities
-Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
-Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management
-Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other project managers
-Strong knowledge of various PM protocols: Waterfall, Agile, and SDLC
-Proficiency in the flow of data, data transmission and data lineage
-Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master (CSM) certification, or PMP-ACP, or CAPM certification desired
-Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
-Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
-Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
-Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
-Takes responsibility for achieving strong results, despite balancing multiple complex demands
-Identifies the component parts of a complex situation or problem and the relationship among variables that are not obvious
-Probes in-depth to understand the customer's business needs
-Explores and understands the customer's alternatives and decision criteria
-Understands specific financial and accounting standards to identify and assess the impact and likelihood of operational risks
-Understands the relevant products and services and the markets in which they are sold and their risk return to the organization
-Can identify and speak to major operational issues across the organization
-Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. -Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.
-Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word. 5 - 10 years of experience preferred.
