Job Description
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine seeks a full-time, faculty member to expand our team of Community Interventional Radiology Specialists for Daytime coverage of IR and routine diagnostic coverage. There will also be IR call coverage at a single institution. The successful candidate will have a good blend of experience in general radiology as well as good IR skill set as call does include the occasional Trauma case.
This position is for a board certified, fellowship-trained Radiologist with strong interests in Community Interventional Radiology operations . Our clinical network is linked to the University Of Maryland Medical Center, the heart of the University of Maryland Medical System's Baltimore campus, by an enterprise-wide EMR driven PACS system, supported by voice recognition dictation with seamless interoperability.
The potential start date is as soon as February 2020, however, graduating fellows that can start in July 2020 will also be considered. Work schedule will have a strong focus on sustainability and a favorable work/life balance. Candidates should be comfortable with the broad scope of diagnostic radiology (plain film, CT, and ultrasound) as well as good IR skill set. There are no nuclear medicine nor mammography requirements.
