Your Key Responsibilities:

Professional will also be responsible for working on a transactional data warehousing application transforming data into the data warehouse for Equities and Fixed Income
This role includes making this data available to downstream dependencies and building critical Compliance and business reporting off this warehouse
Development work will include building new database schemas to support Equities single stock and derivate and Fixed Income, implementing data retrieval and data transformations, working with upstream and downstream dependencies and implementing critical reporting
Critical Compliance reporting is a major part of the role so understanding US rules and regulations like OATS and MSI605/606 is an important component
This role also include working closely with the data providers on data quality to ensure continual improvement to the platform

Your Skills and Experience:

Hands on experience in working with relational databases & Core Java in a data-warehousing environment. Proven experience as a Lead Engineer taking ownership for deliverables and seeing them through completion, ability to resolve technical challenges independently, partnering with all dependent teams
In-depth knowledge of Core Java, expert level knowledge in frameworks like Hibernate, Cucumber and Spring, good database development, debugging skills using Oracle 11g. Experience with Cloud Migration using platforms like GCP (preferable), AWS, AZURE, etc. is a big plus
Adept in Test Driven and Agile development Methodologies within financial regulations specifically equities. Good knowledge in Unix and shell scripting. Experience working with big volumes (millions of records, databases of TBs in size) is a plus. Exadata or RAC experience is required
Working experience in Control-M Batch Schedule Management tool
Equities or Fixed Income experience strongly desired. Some background in options and other equity derivative products is a big plus
