Description
Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific (CNSP) and Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as an Automatic Data Processing and Information Technology Support. This position centers on providing support for training and certification across the Pacific Fleet, with a particular emphasis on managing Information Technology (IT) systems and cybersecurity functions.
The Automatic Data Processing and Information Technology Support shall have a robust background in managing Navy IT systems and cybersecurity functions, who are capable of ensuring the reliability and security of critical IT assets within the Pacific Fleet. The candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Technical Management:
- Supervise Navy Information Technology systems, ensuring their configuration, operation, and maintenance meet operational standards.
- Oversee the implementation and management of cybersecurity measures across DoD systems, adhering to DoD 8570.01-M requirements.
- Authority to Operate (ATO):
- Manage the ATO process to ensure compliance with necessary security requirements for IT systems.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assess and approve the operation of IT systems within established security frameworks.
- Asset Management:
- Oversee the management of Automated Data Processing (ADP) assets, including inventory management and documentation.
- Execute the Move, Add, and Change (MAC) process for Navy enterprise network services through the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN).
- Procurement Management:
- Draft and manage Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs) to facilitate the acquisition of necessary IT resources and services.
- Ensure all procurement processes align with Navy regulations and guidelines.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Provide quality control measures for IT systems, ensuring they meet operational and cybersecurity standards.
- Regularly review and update documentation related to IT systems and cybersecurity protocols.
Requirements
Experience:
- Technical Management: At least 5 years of experience supervising Navy IT systems, including configuration, operation, and maintenance.
- Cybersecurity: Demonstrated experience in performing cybersecurity functions on DoD systems, with the ability to meet DoD 8570.01-M qualification requirements.
- ATO Process: Proven experience managing the Authority to Operate (ATO) process to ensure IT systems meet security requirements.
- Asset Management: Experience managing ADP assets, including inventory management and the MAC process.
- Procurement: Familiarity with drafting and managing Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs).
Knowledge Areas:
- ADP Management: In-depth knowledge of Navy ADP management programs and their operational requirements.
- ATO Process: Strong understanding of the processes to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Certifications:
- For Systems Administrators: DoD 8570.01-M or successor Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification or equivalent.
- For Information Assurance Officer or Information Systems Security Officer roles: IAM Level II certification or equivalent per DoD 8570.01 or successor.
Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
