Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who is motivated and has a proven track record in developing large scale multi-tiered web-based applications using either Java or .Net and JavaScript technologies including web services, XML, REST, SOAP and JSON. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with UI/UX and bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works and feels. The candidate must also have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work very closely with team members in India and New York throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

Web:

* Javascript (ES5, ES6), Typescript, HTML5, DOM, CSS3, SASS

* StencilJS

* Angular 8+ with RxJS

* Knowledge of TDD/BDD practices

* Unit testing using jest or jasmine

* Debugging and profiling using Chrome Devtools

* Redux concepts - desired

* Responsive and Adaptive UX - desired

* Webpack - desired

* Knowledge of XSS and CORS and in writing secure code - desired

API/Service:

* REST concepts

* ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebAPI

* Multithreading, Task Parallel Library, async/await - desired

* Knowledge and practical experience with OOP and SOLID design principles

Database:

* SQL Server 2016 - desired

Tooling:

* VSCode

* Visual Studio 2017

* MS SQL Mgmt Studio - desired

* Git

* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build tooling - desired

* JIRA - desired

Desired Skills:

* 3-5 years of experience within the financial services industry

* Work with Business Partners and Program Management team to ensure timely business deliverables

* Evaluate the Project's architecture and identify opportunities for broadening the scope of the solution

* Ensure adherence to the standard SDLC processes

* Ensure all Technology and Information Risk guidelines are followed

* Evaluate the existing states and help to define the future state architecture and solutions. Lead the development of the same

* Need to be hands-on helping with development during onsite hours to meet business deliverables

* Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the highest level of quality

* Work with application support teams to ensure timely issue resolution and thorough support processes

* Be self-motivated, flexible, highly adaptable and an excellent team player, and be prepared to work in a global virtual agile team settings along with NY and offshore team members
