Job Description

Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a Capability Developer to support the Maneuver Requirements Division (MRD). The Maneuver Requirements Division (MRD) is a requirements determination office with the M-CDID. MRD performs key roles in the Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process with a maneuver, mounted combat system, and Brigade Combat Team (BCT) Mission Command (MC) focus. MRD projects are aligned with the Army's maneuver portfolio. MRD leads the assessment of maneuver and BCT mission command capabilities to identify gaps and develop integrated Doctrine, Organization, Training, materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) requirements to resolve or mitigate those gaps. It supports the JCIDS Capability Based Assessment (CBA) by providing the identification of needs combining joint concepts with analysis and is responsible for the management of operational architectures. MRD is responsible for the management of the maneuver Test and Evaluation requirements in coordination with the D-CDID Test and Analysis Office (TAO). MRD is responsible for leading the determination of DOTMLPF-P maneuver force requirements, recommending priorities, documenting changes, and providing supporting analysis.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide JCIDS research and writing support to active and legacy projects that are defined as projects with approved JCIDS capability documents and generally between post Milestone A and post Milestone C in the DAS.
  • Provide JCIDS research and writing support to new start projects and initiatives that are defined as projects without approved JCIDS requirements documents and generally pre

Milestone A in the DAS; however, some of these projects could be mature enough to enter the DAS at Milestone C.
  • Provide JCIDS research and writing support to active, legacy, and emerging MC projects and initiatives.


Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • CLR 101 Intro to Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS).
  • ACQ 101 Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management.
  • RQM 110 Core Concepts for Requirements Management.
  • Must have demonstrated skill in operating a computer in order to input, retrieve, develop, and manipulate a variety of data and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office tools to perform said tasks.
  • Must have practical experience in the operation, employment, or sustainment of combat vehicles and mounted weapons systems.
  • Must be able to perform capability gap and DOTMLPF-P analysis to inform

requirements; develop, write, assemble, and staff capability requirements documents, Operational Mode Summary/Mission Profile, and Basis of Issue Guidance; perform Capability Based Assessment and Material Solutions Analysis; conduct product research; and develop Critical Operational Issues and Criteria (COIC) and Doctrinal and Organizational Plan (D&OP) for operational test.
  • Must have a working knowledge JCIDS and its processes.


Clearance: Secret Clearance is required.

Location: Fort Benning, GA.
