Staff Software Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA

Your Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or directly related discipline
• 10+ years of hands-on industry experience as a senior/principal level of software engineer
• Strong communication and solution-oriented, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex organizational or technical problems
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineers in the team
• Lead architecture and design discussions to come up with the most effective technical solution
• Have the ability to influence within and outside the team
• Have successfully built, deployed, and supported an enterprise-scale web application in the cloud
• Cloud (AWS) and Microservices experience preferred
• Experience in healthcare is not required, but familiarity with healthcare data and workflows is preferred (e.g. FHIR, HL7, IHE)
• Experience in developing large scale Data pipelines and/or Microservices preferred
• Engineering best practices such as TDD, CI/CD
• Ideally have the full-stack experience, with expertise in at least one layer
• Hands-on software development experience in either Java or Python with expertise in at least one
• Quick learner with the ability to understand complex workflows and develop and validate innovative solutions to solve difficult problems
