SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Gel-Pak, a division of Delphon Industries is headquartered in Hayward, CA with operations in CA and and Wilsonville OR. Gel-Pak is a growing materials company specializing in polymer products, which is seeking a highly motivated Western Regional Sales Manager with a proven track record of achieving annual sales goals. This position will manage direct customers that focus on B2B sales in high tech companies in the Semiconductor, Photonics, Aerospace, Data Storage, and Medical Device industries. The ideal candidate will be curious with strong problem solving skills. A technical background and experience developing sales strategies to manage complex global strategic accounts is key to drive revenue growth across multiple markets and applications. Experience with international sales environments and travel throughout North America is desired. We are seeking Candidates who are based in the West Coast.

Essential Functions:

1. Implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives. Direct management of your accounts via a sales pipeline, driving the team and yourself to ensure additions, lead management and driving opportunity closures.

2. Drive Gel Pak sales growth through frequent interaction, in person and remote, with customers in your regions.

3. Meets with key customers to present new products and material capabilities, maintain relationships and negotiate contracts.

4. Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy to drive sales growth and increase market penetration.

5. Identify new market trends and work closely with R&D team to develop successful new products that meet customer specification and margin requirements.

6. Work collaboratively with manufacturing and engineering to solve customer problems in a timely manner.

7. Identify competitor products, quantify the impact to sales forecast and develop a marketing campaign to keep Gel-Pak name strong in the market.

8. Attend trade shows to promote products and identify new opportunities.

Education/Experience :

Education: B.S. degree in Technical or Business related field

Experience: 7-10 years of sales experience in the Semiconductor industry

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suites, CRM, Epicor (preferred)
