Tempest Engineer

As a Tempest Engineer, you will be responsible for properly executing TEMPEST test methods and signal analysis in support of the mission!

What You Will Be Doing :

• Setting up Equipment under test (EUT) enclosure in accordance with Govt specs.
• Recording all test results and concerns.
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving Emanation Security ( EMSEC ) vulnerabilities.
• Working with TEMPEST vendors.
• Performing test set-up ambient measurements.
• Capturing and analyzing qualification test data and results and writing reports.
• Working with project teams to evaluate products with respect to NSITSSAM .
• Verifying TESTEST test requirements by the CTTA .
• Attending TEM with crypto device user / customer, CSCM , and vendor.
• Providing testing of certified cryptographic equipment to Client vulnerabilities in secure systems.
• Performing TEMPEST testing of COTS equipment to Client the extent of vulnerabilities for countermeasure purposes.
• Validating IASRD is applied consistently throughout the IC.

Required Skills:

Must Have :

• MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
• 3+ years of experience with TEMPEST testing, design, or engineering.
• TEMPEST certified technician (Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II).
