Responsibilities

• Responsible for estimates of all phases of project implementation
• Support budget management including reporting and forecasting
• Actively participate in project scoping and planning activities and ensure alignment between all parties
• Participate on Project steering teams to ensure successful delivery
• Liaises with other ITS functions and leadership to ensure the effective and efficient project delivery
• Contributes to the development and maintenance of Project Management processes, procedures, policies, tools and methodologies
• Supports on-boarding of resources and coaches and mentors project team members
• Responsible that all the actions from post implementation reviews are properly implemented and applied to new projects and programs
• Responsible for confirming project readiness before starting a new initiative and prior to moving to the next project phase
• Participates in the project review meetings and provide independent assessment on the projects overall health and status
• Provides leadership on projects that have significant issues and provide active support when needed
• Supports the PMO office in ensuring that projects are being reported on accurately
• Drives accuracy in project financial reporting, schedule, resourcing and forecasting
• Consults with stakeholders and implements best practices across large complex projects which require multiple resource teams
• Ensures that project management and development lifecycle process is followed and makes improvements

Qualifications

• 15 plus years of IT and business/industry related experience with large, global organizations. minimum of 10 years in a project management role, managing large projects/programs ($10 Million +)
• Experience in implementing 2-3 large scale SAP MDG implementation projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Extensive experience managing a global delivery team
• Extensive experience presenting to C-level executives
• Certification from recognized authority preferred (e.g., project management professional [PMP] certification from the Project Management Institute [PMI]) for international projects or global rollouts, and experience in leading internationally distributed teams)
