Job Summary - The Senior Project Engineer provides design deliverables to support commercial-scale solar electric systems. He/she will execute engineering and technical tasks of assigned projects from early-stage site evaluation through complete permitted PV system design package and handover to Construction. While in construction the Engineer will provide technical support and quality inspections. The Senior Project Engineer will identify the most appropriate technical and material solutions for each project as well as perform detailed design calculations and manage third party engineering service providers and Independent Engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Review and comment on equipment specifications and shop drawings, final design drawings and specifications, and other supporting details. (one-Community)
• Conceptual design drawings, site evaluation reports, completed interconnection forms, three-line electrical diagram. ( full-Commitment)

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 7 years or more experience as Solar project lead engineer, preferably in Utility Scale power projects.
• Completed design engineering and construction support of greenfield Utility Scale Solar PV projects for at least 3 different solar plants with 3 separate major inverter, tracker and module manufacturers.
• Experience working with and knowledge of National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code and NFPA 70E
