Summary:
The Manager of Infrastructure Architecture reports to the Director of Infrastructure Services, and is responsible for functional service solution architecture within Infrastructure Services. Service areas include Application Hosting Services, Collaboration and File Sharing, Unified Communications across voice, data and mobility, and Enterprise Monitoring Services, in a hybrid-operating model across Cloud IaaS / PaaS / SaaS and on-premises solution stacks, with an emphasis on Cloud based solutions moving forward. This key role is responsible for engaging stakeholders across business, technology and leadership teams, with the goal of building integrated and automated solutions that match desired business outcomes. The incumbent will directly leads a team of solution architects as well as collaborate with service, operations and ITSM process owners both within and external to Infrastructure Services. The incumbent will understand solutions as well as have the presence, energy and experience to engage stakeholders and colleagues alike to achieve outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish, support and enable strategic vision for all service areas within the broader Infrastructure Services functional domain, including Application Hosting, Collaboration and File Sharing Services, Unified Communications, and Operations Monitoring and alerting.
- Collaborate across all Infrastructure teams to establish, deliver and support production services.
- Establish yourself as the leader for Infrastructure architecture solutions and related architectural roadmaps, including multi-year roadmaps for responsible service areas.
- Establish core Disaster Recovery architecture across functional services.
- Define key metrics across Infrastructure Services areas
- Lead organizational change as the Firm initiates and accelerates our transition towards secure cloud based services.
- Lead requirements gathering, across security, compliance, network, IAM, compute / memory / storage, application integration, service use cases, user experience and other areas, to establish go forward reference architecture for cloud services.
- Maintain on-premises architectures as required to support specific operations and services.
- Engage with developers and DBAs to establish optimized environments across functional responsibility areas.
- Provide thought leadership, innovative ideas, and drive towards cross-functional partnership. Make presentations to stakeholders in support of desired solutions.
- Hire, develop and manage employees and follow the Firm's standard performance review process.
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ensure transparency and well planned communication.
- Drives planning, execution, and measurement of Infrastructure service strategy.
- Ensure effective relationships amongst vendor and IT staff as it relates to value delivery and support.
- Familiar with Program/Project Management solutions and processes, and can use both to establish and track designated initiatives and their status.
- Familiar with ITSM tools including ServiceNow or other.

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in an IT Management role.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud services across IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, as well as on-premises datacenter based solutions, including Converged / Hyper Converged Infrastructure.
- Operational experience supporting business needs on a 24x7 basis.
- Familiarity with commonly used software licensing methods and license accounting practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technological information to business leaders.
- Proven experience with vendor management and negotiation.
Preferred:
- Professional services industry experience - financial, accounting, consulting, legal, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with Unified Communications services across voice, data and mobility, as well as networking solutions including MPLS, SD-WAN and Internet.
- Demonstrated experience with federated Identity and Access Management solutions, including 2FA/MFA, as well as Cloud Access Security Broker tools, to govern secure access to resources.
