Job Description
  • Provide excellence in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to young children with special needs and their families in home, day care or community settings.
  • ABA Training/Supervision in collaboration with ABA Clinical Director.
  • Provide BCBA Supervision throughout New York City or Westchester, as needed.
  • Run ABA Programs as they are written in the child's individualized program book (which includes daily data collection).
  • Work effectively with parents/caregivers in a 1:1 setting to educate them on how to help children learn and grow.
  • Attend team meetings in accordance to the child's IFSP.
  • Collaborate well with all team members on child's progress.
  • Prepare and submit daily session notes, progress reports and other paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Provide services in accordance with county and New York State Regulations.

Qualifications

  • Required Valid and Current Registration Certificate OR License (1 minimum):
    • BCBA and/or Licensed Behavior Analyst
    • Ph.D. in Psychology, Master's degree in Special Education, Social Work or other approved degree under NYS EIP
    • At least 2 year's experience writing and implementing ABA Program Books
    • At least 2 year's experience working with families of young children with PDD/Autism
    • At least 1 year experience of training ABA staff
    • Knowledgeable about Early Intervention/CPSE regulations a plus
  • Experience in:
    • Principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis.
    • Discrete Trial Training.
