London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital is welcoming a DVM, Medical Director to join our team of highly engaged and professional veterinarians. Over and above your primary Veterinarian responsibilities, your secondary responsibility will be providing Medical Director leadership for the Emergency DVM Team ensuring compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. Working in partnership with the management team and area Specialty Medical Director, you will contribute to the financial performance of the Clinic by setting and meeting budgeting and operational targets, directing and fostering the veterinary staff to deliver exceptional client experience and excellence in veterinary care. London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital is welcoming a DVM, Medical Director to join our team of highly engaged and professional veterinarians. Over and above your primary Veterinarian responsibilities, your secondary responsibility will be providing Medical Director leadership for the Emergency DVM Team ensuring compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. A few key attributes and responsibilities are:
- 3+ years post-graduate experience working as an Emergency Veterinarian in an active hospital
- Experience leading a team of veterinary professionals when addressing changes and/or improvements to medical protocols
- Oversees surgical and medical cases for veterinary doctors ensuring positive outcomes and accurate estimates
- Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents and community
- Coaching and mentoring capabilities
