Tax Manager - Partnerships
Due to recent growth in our partnerships taxation industry group, Keiter is seeking a dynamic and client service-oriented individual to join our practice as a Tax Manager specializing in Partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities and Knowledge:
Serve as liaison among senior managers, partners, clients, and staff. Handle all phases of tax engagements specializing in those related to partnerships
Possess strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation; industry specialization a plus
Working knowledge of US Tax Code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
Background working in partnership compliance and/or consulting, including experience with various common partnership issues (Sec 704(b) capital accounts and revaluations, Sec 754 basis adjustments, Sec. 704(c) and special allocations, and partnership agreements)
Serve as the main point of contact for multiple clients and directly handle tax-related communication with clients' attorneys, brokers, or other third parties
Participate in the development of staff through one-on-one teachable moments and offering feedback on a regular basis; also seek feedback from others
Actively participate in the generation of additional business by seeking out new clients and follow-through with leads
Contribute to and foster a positive work environment
Job Requirements:
Hold active CPA license
At least five years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or other related experience
Ability to develop relationships with current and potential clients
