Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC)

The Department of Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, is seeking well-qualified candidates to join an accomplished and collegial department of over 90 faculty to fill an open Acute Care and Emergency Radiology Services radiologist position. The Acute Care and Emergency Radiology Services Division serves as the anchor for coordinating emergency radiology and inpatient imaging in our department. The successful candidate will have training and experience in a wide range of radiologic modalities and organ systems and will be an integral member of our team of radiologists.

In addition, the department will be engaged in the newly announced and exciting clinical collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, BIDMC, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England's only free-standing adult inpatient cancer hospital. The collaboration will bring together world-class clinicians to deliver transformational, precision medicine in an environment solely dedicated to defying cancer.

BIDMC is a major Harvard Medical School-affiliated teaching hospital with 743 beds, a Level I trauma center, and highly competitive residency and fellowship programs across the range of academic medicine. The hospital shares important collaborations with Joslin Diabetes Center, Children's Hospital and has a growing oncology patient panel. BIDMC is an anchor medical center for the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) network, which includes more than 4,300 physicians, 35,000 employees and covers approximately 1.3 million patients in eastern Massachusetts.

Candidates for this position should be ABR eligible/certified, fellowship trained (emergency, body or neuroradiology fellowship preferred) and proficient in multimodality exams. Candidates should be excited to work in an academic environment and committed to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Candidates must possess or qualify for licensure in the state of Massachusetts and be eligible for academic appointment at the Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
