Job Description

Provide technical expertise and support for network integration and consolidation across various system environments.
Prepare and review technical implementation plans, outlining integrated solutions, actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths.
Address and resolve technical issues related to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
Interface with customers, vendors, and technical teams to analyze business and technical requirements, including establishing new circuits.
Develop and present technical briefings, engineering standards, operating procedures, and status reports to senior leadership.
Participate in the development of network architecture, engineering designs, and system changes.
Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for current and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with partners across various technologies to de-conflict efforts, identify innovation opportunities, and improve efficiency and operability.
Communicate effectively with customers on matters of significant importance to the organization.
Successfully complete individual projects and tasks within deadlines.

Requirements

Education: BS degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience.
Clearance: Active DOD TS/SCI level security clearance, eligible for w/CI Poly.
Certifications: IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
Ability to translate highly technical matters to a non-technical audience.
Strong communication skills.
Deep technical knowledge in network services and architecture (WAN/LAN/VPN).
Experience with the following technologies:
- Cisco Switches and routers
- S2S connections
- DMVPNs
- Advanced routing (BGP)
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- AWS network design and implementations (VPCs, Route 53, Amazon Firewall Services).
Decision-making ability with appropriate escalation when necessary.
Extensive experience in security domains and industry best practices, including business continuity, disaster recovery, and emerging technology.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation.
