Job Title: Exploration Manager - South American Gold Producer

Location: South America (Can be done on a FIFO roster)

Summary:

Geo Resource Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Exploration Manager for a South American Gold Producer. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading exploration efforts for both brownfield and greenfield projects, with a focus on VMS deposits. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of a leading gold producer in South America.

Key Responsibilities:

Exploration Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and implement exploration strategies for both brownfield and greenfield projects to maximize the discovery potential of VMS deposits.
• Conduct geological evaluations and assessments to identify high-potential exploration targets.

Project Management:

• Oversee all aspects of exploration projects, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
• Manage drilling programs and geological surveys to gather data and assess project viability.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the exploration team, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
• Interpret geological data and results to generate meaningful insights and recommendations.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and joint venture partners.
• Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events, promoting a positive image and reputation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mineral exploration, with a focus on gold and VMS deposits.
• Proven track record of success in managing exploration projects in South America, with experience in both brownfield and greenfield environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of VMS deposits and associated geological formations.
• Experience in project management, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Fluency in Spanish.
