Job Description
This is a full-time position available in the Surgical Services department. This position is Monday-Friday and rotating on-call. The Surgical Services Manager maintains the standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the hospital and Surgical Services department. Coordinates and supervises nursing care given in the area of OR, PACU, Procedure Room, SDS and Central Processing Services. Assists Anesthesiology in the direct care of patients, equipment needs, and staff reviews. Demonstrates knowledge of aseptic techniques, a familiarity with surgical instrumentation and equipment, and the principles of microbiology as they pertain to the containment of contamination and the sterilization/disinfection process. Able to give direct patient care.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota Board of Nursing or willing to register upon relocation. BSN preferred and previous experience in perioperative nursing preferred. Good organization, communication, and leadership skills. Must be a strong role model for REHC Standards of Behavior and AIDET. Current American Heart BLS and ACLS or willing to be certified within 3 months of employment.

River's Edge is willing to pay for relocation costs and the starting annual salary range is $81,910-$122,408 based on experience.
