JOB TITLE: IT BUSINESS ANALYST JDE - MANUFACTURING

POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will be based in Reading, PA and is the key functional liaison and subject matter expert for Reading Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
***This is a full time, direct hire role (not consulting project!) and requires the employee to be located or relocate to a commutable distance to our Reading, PA corporate office and manufacturing plant.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Engage the business champions, business analysts, developers and infrastructure team to drive the most effective IT approach to meet business requirements
Facilitate and execute continuous improvement within the manufacturing and supply chain functions
Work closely with the BU's functional representatives in the development of Lean / Six Sigma process improvements which best utilizes JDE and the Enterprise Architecture to improve quality; increase productivity; and support business goals
Responsible for the development of the functional training and coordinating the on-going functional support, including the development of BU "super users"
Requires a data-driven approach to hands-on diagnosing and root causing. SQL and reporting skillset crucial
Participate in strategic planning activities as the functional leader in the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, and testing for JDE and business process enhancements and changes.
Act as the functional change agent that interprets the business policies, which define business process and procedures
Own issue / risk identification, escalation, resolution and communication with the project team and functional management including BU functional leaders
Assure conformance to Enterprise Architecture and promote its refinement
Analyze the BU's competitive position in the use of ERP and related technology in relation to industry best practices
Project management duties, including directing scope, timing and resources of other functions as well as maintaining individual project responsibilities
Prepare, present & review overall plans, status reviews and reports as required by project and with BU responsible
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems
5+ years' experience as a Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain Business Analyst
5+ years' experience with JD Edwards ERP System with strong knowledge/experience with the Manufacturing, Planning, Inventory and Supply Chain modules
Strong Data Analytic skills to use current system data to root cause issues, identify metrics and to track improvement
Ability to develop reports and ETLs as needed to support improvement initiatives with relevant system data
Proven record of accomplishment in implementing change
High level of initiative and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, identify priorities and work successfully with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize daily workload and work in a team environment
Drive to continue to learn and grow in the use and application of JD Edwards Citizen Developer Tools as well as other third party reporting and analytical tools
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging others across multiple teams
Ability to travel 20% - 25% of the time to other domestic locations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:
Work occurs primarily in the office but time on the production floor is required.
Travel by car or plane may be required.
