Job Description

Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified TCM SBCT Information Technology and Security Analyst to provide professional services to execute, operate and maintain, and assist in the integration of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) improvements into SBCT formations in support of the U.S. Army TRADOC Capability Manager for Stryker Brigade Combat Team (TCM SBCT). TCM SBCT is TRADOC's DOTMLPF integrator for SBCT formations. This mission requires intensive interaction with these units, operating force Major Commands, acquisition communities and TRADOC Centers of Excellence. ACM SBT requires support of five key areas: 1) SBCT Training Management and Leader Development; 2) SBCT Logistics Sustainment and Safety Integration; 3) SBCT Network and Mission Command Integration; 4) TCM SBCT Information Technology and Security Requirements Services; and 5) SBCT Force Design Update/Operational and Organizational Concept/Future Capabilities Workbook (FCW)/Stryker Brigade Combat Team Doctrine.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the SME for designated information technology (IT) and security requirements identified by TCM SBCT.
  • Perform network management, including systems and applications management, fault configuration, accounting, performance, and security management.
  • Develop recommendations, establish, maintain, and recommend compliance procedures for ADP/Network security.
  • Disseminate and implement Fort Benning, TRADOC, Army, and DoD information assurance policies, guidance, and training requirements.
  • Provide the TCM SBCT interface with the NETCOM Benning for accreditation and automation matters. Ensure the TCM SBCT is compliant with Fort Benning, TRADOC, Army, and DoD information assurance and security policies and regulations.
  • Provide the technical logistical support required to execute the duties and responsibilities within TCM SBCT.
  • Maintain property accountability, storage, and disposal of all TCM SBCT property on-hand.
  • Implement and maintain equipment maintenance plans and procedures, operator qualifications, and dispatching procedures for the safe operation of all TCM SBCT equipment.


Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Possess Secret Clearance
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office-Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • A minimum of six (6) years of technical experience in fielding, training, sustainment, maintenance, and employment of Army Mission Command Systems while conducting DA operational training or deployment in a maneuver BCT, and three (3) years of experience serving in a FORSCOM or TRADOC organization conducting testing, evaluation, and integration of emerging network and mission command system technologies as a Soldier, DA Civilian or Defense Contractor.
  • Experience in tactical network operations, or as a S6 OIC / NCOIC in battalion or brigade field tactical command posts is preferred.
  • Able to conduct alternate administrative functions, as needed, for ACM SBCT to include managing Defense Travel Service reservations and voucher settlements, managing the office calendar, scheduling, and copying documents.
  • Must be able to obtain Capability Developer Level 1 Qualification within a year of hire.
  • Working knowledge of the following:
    • TRADOC Regulation 10-5, Organization and Functions
    • TRADOC Regulation 71-12, Capability Management
    • Army concepts, including TRADOC 525-3-0 Army Capstone Concept and TRADOC 525-3-1, Army Operating Concept
    • Army's doctrinal and combat development processes
    • Army acquisition and program management system
    • SBCT missions, organizations, and operations
