Description:
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer with 5-10+ years of experience to join our Tampa, Florida office. The candidate will be involved with a wide range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, which can include treatment, distribution, and conveyance/collection systems.
This position includes leading and delivering municipal water and wastewater facilities planning and design projects. Task responsibilities include project management, preparation of assessment and design reports, performing design calculations, equipment sizing/ selection, preparation of construction documents, and support of construction management/commissioning needs. Field work and site visits from planning through construction may be required.
This position requires experience with project management or the desire to grow into a project management role. The position may lead to an increasing level of client development and management commensurate with experience, supported by our local office and firm-wide technical resources.
The minimum professional qualifications are a B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, and the ability to obtain a P.E. license in Florida within six months of employment. MS degree a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
