BASIC FUNCTION:
Work as a Reading Specialist to integrate reading strategies in all content areas, provide teacher training to improve student reading and ability to relate to needs of students and parents.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree and three years of classroom teaching experience at the appropriate level.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California teaching credential authorizing instruction at the appropriate level - Reading and Literacy Credential, Added Authorization in Reading, or Reading Certificate held in conjunction with a prerequisite credential.
